Usual hassels

Interested in web design and coding?

Hello, h-h-h-human. Welcome to Riverleaf! You are inside Riverleaf's new electronic publishing system, called Alaska. Riverleaf deploys the latest Intel technologies to provide you with a fast, secure online experience. Only... you are visiting a Linux PC workstation production. Today's publication brings you BUILD 538. That's 538 re-installations of Microsoft Windows 8: recovering from yet another Core Services crash. Oh well. You know, in the big hospitals, they rebuild systems every day. They have fancy equipment. Guess I should just accept PC fate, and reinstall Windows every morning, when I start up.
It's all very captivating. Literally. For those who want to quit the super-buggy new Windows 8, and return to Windows 7... No way! Microsoft 'stamps' user hardware in an undisclosed way, so you can only use Windows 8, unless you want to buy another computer! This aggresive policy might make you think that Microsoft really wants to get everything finally working? Flat no. But do we really want to give up Windows 8 for Windows 7? Not sure. But machine bondage has a perverted feel to it. How to avoid years of digital bullying? That's how everyone I've talked to sums up Windows 8 - "DIGITAL BULLYING". Apple's Mac locks us in too. Unlike Windows, scabbed by millions of competing peripheral pests, each one with its own drivers to accomodate... unlike Windows, Mac hardware comes from just one place. Apple. I spent a fortune on an expensive PC, thinking, "Microsoft will help me now." Not! The equivalent Mac is a decade of groceries. In retrospect, having spent decades and tens of thousands chasing Microsoft, I wish I was saving tens of thousands and using Mac. Just Mac. Unlike Windows, Mac works.
Microsoft, for the home user who wants to play games and listen to tunes, is just fine. For anything serious at home, get serious and buy a Mac. Windows treats all home users as test rats. Microsoft only services large corporations, providing only LARGE greedy corporations with millions of computer terminals. Servicing GIANTS with a Windows that is reasonably stable. Yeah! Buy a Microsoft branded device and you are much better off. Though Redmond is definitely not into power computing... anyway. Microsoft's acceptance begins with "Small Business", having at least 500 employees... say what! It gets better, though. Do you know anyone who smashes homes for a living who you would trust with, well anything? Evidently not. Who in their right mind would trust their business core to Microsoft? No one I know. Life Sciences Hospitals' cores transplant our lungs and hearts with Mac technology.
And so our path down the garden row grows...
Please though, be a test rat if you can. Do not dismiss Windows whose development can only help make Mac a better machine. Lots of computer terminals world wide use Windows. Great for games and tunes. Also data delivery, far away from the critical core. See the pretty picture!
STOP! DON'T PRINT THERE! USE MAC!
You get the picture. A few words of warning, for any web design novices on the wrong path. In Web Design, you cannot hide from it. You are the Core...
